Patient Interview: Adenomyosis

Patient Interview: Adenomyosis Before treatment, I suffered from menstrual cramps for three days and two nights each time. I was absolutely terrified of having my period.

Hysterectomy Was Said to Be the Only Option

At that time, I asked my doctor if there was any effective treatment. She told me that the only way to treat my adenomyoma was to remove my uterus. I was shocked and refused the surgery. After all, I was still relatively young and hoped to find a better solution. Losing one’s uterus is a huge loss for any woman. My husband, seeing how much pain I was in, also hoped we could find a treatment that would preserve my uterus.

Ultrasound Ablation: Preserving the Uterus, Relieving Period Pain

During the procedure, I only felt a mild warmth in my abdomen, with no sharp pain. After the ultrasound ablation treatment, I rested for just two hours and then went home.

It has now been one month since the treatment, and I have experienced no pain at all. My overall health has improved significantly. My menstrual cycle has become much more regular, the pain has decreased dramatically, and my menstrual flow is much lighter than before.
